Gosh, it's been a while. What have I even been up to. Well, I can pretty much sum that up with four words: Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I've still been getting 1-2 matches in per day, since about July of 2013. I think I can say at this point, this is the best I've ever gotten at one video game. There is so much to talk about why I love that game, but I think I'll save that for another time. Right now, our team is in preseason matches, just finishing our first match this last Tuesday. I didn't like how we played, specifically me. I got 4 kills in the whole match, whiffing several easy shots when I should not have. I don't think that being on an Atlanta server helped very much, as the CEVO servers were not having a fun time of it.
One thing I really need to work on is just my movement and how I react to people in a firefight. I'm so used to doing the crouch spray reaction from CS 1.6 (which ironically, I wasn't that good at and put far less hours into).
Today has been a very exciting day for CS:Go. So far, we have 2 players being VAC-banned from top tier teams: KQLY and SF. Two french super stars are out of competition, one week before Dreamhack winter, the last Major of the year. I mean, I don't really have to say how shocking this is. It's surprising, but not surprising at the same time.
